As the son of a temple money-changer, Nathan knows the laws of God s house. He knows that only Jews are allowed into the temple s inner court, beyond the wall of the Soreg. Any Gentile found beyond that point is killed. Nathan has never questioned the rules. But when a young Gentile asks to meet with God, Nathan decides to take the boy into the temple. Caught in the center of a growing conflict between temple officials and the disciples of the recently crucified Jesus, Nathan struggles to find the truth.
