This book was written by applicants who recently matched into emergency medicine residency to give potential EM bound students a different perspective from program directors and other advisors. While student experiences and program directors' advice are found in this book, most recommendations are based on the latest objective data from NRMP if possible. There are also recommendations for DO and IMG students. The book is written in a question and answer format. 100% of royalties and proceeds will go to the School of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. These funds will be used for Emergency Medicine related activities and are reserved only for potential Emergency Medicine bound students.
