Product Overview
Sara Midda's first book, In and Out of the Garden , was an evocation of the pleasures of an English garden, and now she turns to another passion - the landscape and life of the South of France. She captures facades of houses, landscapes, piles of fruit, signs in a shop, bunches of herbs, trees in a line, views from a window, a paid of worn espadrilles, the different colours of the sky and much more of the exquisite, exotic or commonplace. Her work is characterized by delicate colours, an eye for detail and the ability to convey atmosphere. She describes her work as an interpretation of the everyday.
