The purpose of the Study Guide is to assist candidates in preparing for the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certifications (NCTRC) national certification examination for Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.
The Study Guide will:
a) provide information on reducing test anxiety and improving test performance; and
b) provide numerous sample questions, similar to those actually found on the exam, which will allow candidates to practice and self-assess their own readiness for the test.
Significant changes in this third edition include:
a) 90 warm-up items- 40 more than previous editions
b) 180 sample questions- two practice tests

The two reviews posted refer to the 1st and 2nd editions. This new 3rd edition addresses and fixes the deficiences noted in those reviews!
