Preface: This is the first book written expressly for the power pilot who is going to transition to gliders. In the past, power pilots were asked to purchase text books that were written for the beginning pilot. These books were filled with information that the power pilot already knew. It is my hope that you find this book filled with worthwhile information without dwelling too much on any subject. If a review of any subject is needed, you will find a bibliography at the end of the book of other texts that you will want to add to your library.
