La escuela es un proceso socializador, no slo acadmico. La escuela debe ser una institucin que proponga mejores alternativas de interrelacin social y no limitarse a ser el espejo o el recipiente de los vicios y la decadencia social, al ser la institucin con ms posibilidades de influir positivamente para el cambio social, rescatando su misin propositiva. Plantea diversas estrategias para que los profesores puedan mejorar su toma de decisiones en el aula y en la escuela respecto a temas disciplinarios y la interaccin con sus alumnos y padres de familia. Plantea que los principios de universalidad, humanismo, socializacin y tica deben estar por encima de la formacin estrictamente acadmica o tecnolgica.
School becomes a social process, not just an academic one. School must be an institution that proposes new alternatives for human interaction and not limit itself to being the mirror or recipient of the social decadence, should be an institution with further possibilities to influence positively over social change. It proposes different strategies for professors to improve the decision-making process at the classroom and at school pertaining to disciplinary subjects and interaction with pupils and parents. It describes the principles of universality, humanism, socialization and ethics which should be a complement the academic or technological formation.
