This textbook is well-written, informative, and formatted in an easy-to-reference manner. I am a second-year graduate student in a Clinical Counseling program and this textbook was the most influential and helpful in regard to the development of my practical counseling skills. I would highly recommend it to graduate students even if it is not one of your required readings.
