Patsy the seagull and his friend, Harriet, love living at the beach and spending their days fishing for food in the ocean and visiting their human friends, the two Grandma Pats, for some potato chip treats. One day, a hurricane blew on the beach and carried Patsy and Harriet into a westward wind current, all the way to a lake in Pennsylvania. They had never seen the different animals, especially one as big as Dexter the Deer, and they were afraid.
